FOUNDER, SYNPRAXIS Marios Loucaides has extensive and diverse experience in commercial activities across various sectors, including Consumer Products, Mass Catering, Tobacco, Cosmetics, Duty-Free Shops, Telecommunications, and Technology. He has engaged in multiple specialties ranging from sales and marketing to logistics and information systems. With an academic background in mathematics, physics, and computer science from the universities of London and Oxford, he began his career as a college professor. Although he taught for only two years, he retained a lifelong enthusiasm for knowledge transfer. He then spent a decade in the emerging field of information technology before dedicating 25 years to the CTC Group, where he served as CEO for 14 years. His involvement with organizations in advertising, television audience measurement, restaurant reviews, ECR, and debating competitions in high schools through Toastmasters, as well as the annual Zivania event in Alona, has broadened his experiences. In 2019, he decided to share his knowledge and experiences by founding the consulting firm Synpraxis. The firm focuses on consulting services related to his expertise, with projects in Cyprus, Malta, Greece, and Lebanon, as well as advising family businesses on the steps they should take for long-term success. As a member of Be.e Philosophy, he has shared experiences, advice, and training with over 50 small and medium-sized family businesses in Cyprus.
