Christos Papapetrou is President of the Cyprus Farmers’ Union (PEK) and represents Cyprus’ five major farmers’ organisations: EKA, Euroagrotikos, Nea Agrotiki Kinisi, PEK and Panagrotikos. With extensive experience in the organised agricultural sector, he is actively involved in representing farmers’ interests and contributing to dialogue on key issues affecting Cypriot agriculture, including farm income, production costs, agricultural policy, rural development, competitiveness and the long-term resilience of the primary sector.
