It started with one hair salon in Kakopetria. More than four decades later, the vision is still growing. Andrie Georgiou shares how a small beginning became a lifelong entrepreneurial journey—and why success sometimes comes from having the courage to keep reinventing what you started.
Andri Georgiou is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Beauty & Wellness Group, one of Cyprus’s leading groups in the beauty, wellness, and Day Spa sector.
Born on 9 March, Ms Georgiou began her professional career in 1981 as a hairdresser. She opened her first salon, Andrie’s Hair Studio, in Kakopetria. Eleven years later, in 1992, she expanded her business activities by opening a new hair salon on Makariou Avenue in Nicosia.
In 2002, Ms Georgiou acquired the Master Franchise of DESSANGE Paris and established the DESSANGE WELLNESS DAY SPA, a 1,600-square-metre facility housed in a three-storey building near Kallipoleos Avenue in Nicosia. Today, DESSANGE DAY SPA in Engomi continues to provide highly personalised service and exclusive treatments, offering guests a complete experience of beauty, wellness, and relaxation.
In 2008, she created QUICK SPA, further expanding the concept in Limassol in 2010.
In 2014, she undertook the management of HAMAM OMERIYE, one of Cyprus’s important cultural and historical monuments, bringing together heritage, wellness, and hospitality in a unique setting.
In 2024, ILIOS SPA became part of the Beauty & Wellness Group. Inspired by the energy of the Mediterranean sun and the natural resources of Cyprus, ILIOS SPA manages spa facilities within hotels, offering a distinctive wellness concept rooted in the character and natural beauty of the island.
