Your first startup doesn’t have to be your biggest success. It might be the lesson that leads you to the next one. Marios Pafitis shares how every venture, challenge and new idea shaped his journey from Fooderloo to MammoCheck.

Marios Pafitis is the Co-founder and CTO of MammoCheck, where he leads the development of the company’s AI-powered software for adjunctive, breast cancer screening, currently on a pathway toward FDA 510(k) clearance and EU MDR CE marking. He holds an MSc in Web and Smart Systems from Frederick University, graduating first in his class, and a BSc in Computer Science with AI specialisation from the University of Cyprus with First Class Honours. A serial entrepreneur and previous co-founder of Fooderloo, he is a YTILI Fellow of the US State Department, a member of the YTILI Alumni Board, and a Forbes 30 Under 30 Greece 2026 honouree.
