Dr Nicodemos Damianou is the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy of the Republic of Cyprus. He holds a Sc.B Degree in Computer Science from Brown University USA, a Ph.D in Computer Security & Policy-based Management of enterprise-wide Computer Networks from Imperial College UK, a Diploma of Information Security from Imperial College, and an MBA from the University of Cyprus. He is an IT and Information Security professional with many years of experience in Payment Systems and Fintech, Risk Management Methodologies and Digital Transformation Technologies. He served at managerial positions within the Bank of Cyprus Group. From November 2017 to January 2024 he was the General Manager of JCC Payment Systems Ltd.
Mayor of Nicosia
Charalambos Prountzos, born in Nicosia in 1978, hails from the occupied villages of Gerolakkos and Akanthou. He holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Bristol (2001) and is a Barrister-at-Law from the Inns of Court School of Law, London, with a Diploma in Professional Legal Skills from City University. A licensed insolvency practitioner and lawyer, he is the Managing Partner of Prountzos & Prountzos LLC, which he founded in 2010. He has significant experience in regulated markets, competition law, mergers, acquisitions, and energy projects. Charalambos led legal services for a Big4 firm in the CEE, SEE, and Central Asia region from 2019 to 2023. He has served as Chairman of the Council at the Open University of Cyprus and on the Board of CYENS, a research center. He was also involved in the Cyprus reunification talks. Charalambos is married to journalist Gogo Alexandrinou, and they have two children.

Demetris Skourides is the Chief Scientist for Research, Innovation, and Technology of the Republic of Cyprus and Chairman of the National AI Taskforce. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from Arizona State University and an MBA from Henley Management College. Additionally, he has been trained in digital transformation, AI, data monetization, and sales through programs at Columbia, Stanford, MIT, and Harvard. With a career spanning Oracle and Amazon Web Services, he has held executive roles across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. At Oracle, where he worked since 2006, he played a key role in driving cloud and ISV solutions transformation. He later joined AWS as Industry Strategist for EMEA, focusing on financial services, retail, manufacturing, and energy. Demetris Skourides spearheaded the establishment of Cloud Partner Centres of Excellence in Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, South Korea, Kenya, and South Africa, enabling innovation and new revenue streams. He also chairs the Board of Directors of the Research and Innovation Foundation (ex officio).

Olympian, Track & Field – Specializing in the 110m Hurdles
Milan Trajkovic was born on March 17, 1992. He is a track and field athlete specializing in the 110m hurdles.
Trajkovic grew up in the Serbian town of Surdulica but moved with his family to Cyprus at the age of nine due to the NATO bombings in Yugoslavia. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, he qualified for the final of the 110m hurdles with times of 13.41 seconds and 13.31 seconds in the semifinals. With this achievement, Trajkovic became the first Cypriot athlete to qualify for the Olympic final in this event. He represented Cyprus in the 110m hurdles final at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
His personal bests are 13.25 seconds in the 110m hurdles (0.0 m/s, London 2017) and 7.51 seconds in the 60m hurdles (Birmingham, 2018). Both are current national records.
In 2024, he reached the final of the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow, finishing 8th, and later that summer at the Olympic Games in Paris, he advanced to the semifinals, where he narrowly missed qualification for the final, placing 9th overall.

My name is Rally Papageorgiou. I was born on January 24, 1975, in Nea Vyssa, a village in the northeastern part of the Evros River, on the border between Greece and Turkey. I studied journalism at IEK Akmi (a private college) in Athens and at Frederick University in Nicosia. In 2005, I went to Istanbul and studied the Turkish language at TÖMER (the language institute of Ankara University). I came to Cyprus in 1996 and since then I have worked at Astra radio, Radio Proto, as a correspondent of the Dias media group in Turkey, and at Sigma TV. Μετά την πρακτική μου άσκηση στον Αnt1, εργάστηκα στο Mega Κύπρου από το 2016 μέχρι το 2018, ενώ στη συνέχεια προσλήφθηκα από την διαδικτυακή εφημερίδα REPORTER, της εταιρείας ΙΜΗ, οπου παρέμεινα μέχρι το 2022.
Μετά από δύο χρόνια εργασίας ως Υπεύθυνος Ακαδημιών και Team Manager της γυναικείας ομάδας πετοσφαίρισης της Ανόρθωσης Αμμοχώστου, επέστρεψα στον REPORTER, όπου εργάζομαι μέχρι σήμερα.

Constantina Evripidou is the founder of the modeling school Constantina Evripidou Fashion Workshop (CEFW) in Nicosia, as well as the founder of the fashion brand Ani Limited Collections. Born in Limassol on March 18, 1985, she began her public career as Miss Cyprus in 2004, paving the way for a successful journey in modeling, television, and entrepreneurship. From 2010 to 2012, she co-hosted the daily show “Kalimera” on Sigma TV alongside Panagiotis Dimopoulos. During the 2016–2017 television season, she hosted the shows “Xypnisate?” and “Star Kypros” on MegaOne, followed by “Ola Gia Sena” (2016–2018) on Omega and “Ola Kala” (2018–2020) on Sigma. Petros Vassilopoulos is a leading figure in the logistics sector in Cyprus. Katerina Efstratiou is a textile designer, artist and educator based in Nicosia, Cyprus. She runs the Katerina Efstratiou Weaving Studio, where she creates handwoven pieces like wall hangings, fashion accessories and homeware using high-quality yarns and traditional techniques. She holds an MA in Textile Design from the University of Brighton. Her work is all about bringing Cypriot weaving back to life especially Fytiotiko Embroidery, by giving it a fresh, modern twist. Alongside her artistic practice, she teaches weaving to people of all ages and collaborates with fashion designers, artists and the hospitality industry to create unique, meaningful textiles rooted in heritage.
