George Kouzis is a mountain bike athlete, coach, and content creator whose passion for cycling began at age six with Bikin’ Cyprus academy. Raised as a scout, George learned the values of adventure, independence, and a deep connection to nature. A 5x Elite National Champion in MTB and road cycling, he has competed in top European and World events, building resilience and skill along the way. George is also a dedicated coach and social media creator, partnering with brands like Kona, Garmin, and Škoda Cyprus. In 2025, he embarks on a bold 130-day solo road trip across 20 European countries, racing in 16 elite MTB events while living self-supported in his car. Having visited more than 15 countries in his nearly 30 year capacity as export director, Carolos Petrou still feels every day may be a chance to forge a fruitful relationship with a fellow professional in Cyprus and overseas . Charalambos Prountzos, born in Nicosia in 1978, hails from the occupied villages of Gerolakkos and Akanthou. He holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Bristol (2001) and is a Barrister-at-Law from the Inns of Court School of Law, London, with a Diploma in Professional Legal Skills from City University. A licensed insolvency practitioner and lawyer, he is the Managing Partner of Prountzos & Prountzos LLC, which he founded in 2010. He has significant experience in regulated markets, competition law, mergers, acquisitions, and energy projects. Charalambos led legal services for a Big4 firm in the CEE, SEE, and Central Asia region from 2019 to 2023. He has served as Chairman of the Council at the Open University of Cyprus and on the Board of CYENS, a research center. He was also involved in the Cyprus reunification talks. Charalambos is married to journalist Gogo Alexandrinou, and they have two children.

Constantina Evripidou is the founder of the modeling school Constantina Evripidou Fashion Workshop (CEFW) in Nicosia, as well as the founder of the fashion brand Ani Limited Collections. Born in Limassol on March 18, 1985, she began her public career as Miss Cyprus in 2004, paving the way for a successful journey in modeling, television, and entrepreneurship. From 2010 to 2012, she co-hosted the daily show “Kalimera” on Sigma TV alongside Panagiotis Dimopoulos. Stefanos Stefanou was born in Gerollakos (occupied areas) on 21st January 1965.  After the Turkish invasion of 1974 he settled in Deftera, his father’s hometown.  He is married to Georgia Zenonos and has 2 daughters.  In July 2021, at the 23^rd Congress of AKEL, he was elected General Secretary of the Central Committee of AKEL.  He studied Political Science at the Academy of Social and Political Sciences in Sofia, Bulgaria. During his studies, he was President of the Cypriot Student’s Organisation in Bulgaria.   After completing his studies in 1989, he worked as a full-time militant of the United Democratic Youth Organization (EDON).  He has been a member of the Central Committee of AKEL since 1995, the Political Bureau since 2011 and the Central Secretariat since 2013. In 1996 he was elected General Secretary of EDON, a post he held until 2001.  From 2001 to 2008, he was appointed to the Office of the President of the Parliament, Demetris Christofias, as Special Advisor.  From 2008 to 2013 he served as Government Spokesman in the Government of Demetris Christofias. In the period 2013-2016, he served as the District Secretary of AKEL Nicosia-Kyrenia District Organisation. From 2016 to 2021, he served as the Party’s Press Spokesperson and Head of the Press and Communication Office of the C.C. of AKEL.  He was elected MP for Nicosia with AKEL-Left-New Forces in the elections of 22nd May 2016 and re-elected in the elections of 30th May 2021.  He served as Deputy Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Refugees-Enclaved-Missing-Adversely Affected Persons, Member of the House Standing Committee on Development Plans and Public Expenditure Control, of the House Standing Committee on Financial and Budgetary Affairs and of the Ad Hoc House Committee on the Investigation of Issues Relating to Loans of Politically Exposed Persons and as Head of the Delegation of the House to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM). Currently, he is member of the Cyprus delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU). As of July 2021, he is a member of the National Council.

Dr. Marinos Sotiriou is the founder of the private hospital American Medical Center  which offers high-quality medical services. He is also the Head of the Department of Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery. Dr. Sotiriou holds a medical degree from the University of Cologne in Germany and a PhD from the University of Zurich in Switzerland. He completed his surgical and cardiothoracic training at State University of New York at Stony Brook, Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He is licensed to practice medicine both in Cyprus and in Tennessee, USA. He holds certifications from the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Constantinos Daltas is the Founder and Managing Director of Red Wolf Ogilvy and President of Board of Directors of Cyprus Communication Agencies Association (SDEK). He comes from Media and Communication Industry, where he has served as an executive, in Greek TV channels, radio stations, newspapers, websites and communication companies, since the mid-1990s. I am Antri Christoforou, a professional cyclist and three-time Olympian (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2021, Paris 2024). I have competed in three editions of the Tour de France and I am the only female athlete from Greece and Cyprus to have raced with a UCI World Tour team. I am a 17-time national champion in time trial and road race events and the proud winner of Cyprus’s only cycling medal at the Mediterranean Games. I hold two university degrees, one in Biological Sciences and another in Pharmacy, while the most important role in my life remains being a mother!

Chrysostomos Papavassiliou is the Founder and CEO of Island Oil Holdings, a group of companies with a focus on the trading and physical supply of marine fuels. Starting in 2002 as a Business Developer, Mr. Priftakis undertook constantly upgraded roles, contributing significantly to the formation and development of the company’s sales. Growing up immersed in his family’s business, Michael P Leptos had the unique chance to understand the Cypriot real estate market, its operations, traditions and future. Completing his studies in Financial Mathematics (UK) and Entrepreneurship & Innovation (US), he came back to Cyprus to rejoin the Leptos Group. Now, being with the company for nearly half a decade, Michael holds a position in the Executive Management team. With this role, Michael’s main responsibilities involve overseeing high-level tasks whilst at the same time bridging the communication and operations across the levels of the Group’s hierarchy. This hands-on approach allows him to refine processes, gain new insights and contribute to the Group’s continued growth.

With an academic background in Quantity Surveying and an MSc in Project Management at University of Reading, I began my professional journey in the Operations department of Unihalls Student Accommodation. Unihalls originated as the ambitious vision of my father during the 2013 financial crisis—a vision which, through commitment and hard work, I and my team have transformed into the leading brand in the student accommodation sector. I later assumed responsibility for the Operations of the entire group, which I have been proudly leading since 2018. With over a decade of experience, I have built a career grounded in strong negotiation capabilities, strategic problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous professional development. I have also been instrumental in driving technological innovation across the organization and in fostering greater female representation within our workforce. My vision is to continue developing innovative, forward-looking projects in Cyprus and beyond, while remaining true to the human-centered values instilled by the previous generation.

Michael Jacovides holds the degree of BSc (Hons) Biological Sciences (Health Sciences) from Middlesex University London as well as the postgraduate degrees in MSc in Health Promotion from King’s College London, Msc in Social Epidemiology from University College London (UCL), and Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM). He joined the family business in 2010 as a Medical Representative and until 2017 he contributed to the successful promotion of prescription & OTC pharmaceuticals as well as food supplements to healthcare professionals, recording a significant increase in their sales. In 2017 he was promoted to Project Manager and, until early 2025, had under his responsibility a strong team of 7 medical representatives in the OTC Pharmaceuticals & Food Supplements Department. From then onwards, he was assigned Executive Manager and took over as Head of Pharmacy Division and OTC Pharmaceuticals & Food Supplements Department, as well as coordinator of strategic business development projects.

Andriani Koshi is the Marketing Executive at Cyprus Millers by Hadjigiorkis, a leading business in the flourmill industry, established in 1945. She is a fourth-generation member of the company and has played a pivotal role in shaping its modern brand identity. Since joining in 2016, she has led strategic marketing initiatives, including a full rebranding campaign in 2020 that elevated the company’s market presence. With expertise in digital campaigns, strategic communication, and brand development, she brings a forward-thinking approach rooted in tradition. Andriani holds an MSc in Strategic Marketing from Imperial College Business School and a BSc in Business Management from the University of Westminster.

 Her journey in the hospitality sector began in 2014, when, still a student, she worked during the summer period as a trainee receptionist at one of the hotels that today belong to the Leonardo Hotels Group, before their acquisition in 2017. At the end of 2017, having completed her studies in Business and Management at Birmingham City University, she was entrusted with the creation and leadership of the first Human Resources Department for the group’s three hotels at that time. Today, as Group Human Resources Manager, she is responsible for seven hotel units, supported by a dynamic team of five professionals, while we are also preparing to add three new units to our portfolio. Having started from the ground up, she deeply understand the needs of the hotel industry and feel especially proud to represent the Group in this role at such a young age.

Artemis Pnevmatikou is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in Strategic Communications and PR. She has collaborated with renowned consumer and corporate brands including AUDI, H&M, Tommy Hilfiger, Chevron, EBRD, and the EU Commission. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles, successfully managing teams and mentoring individuals. Since 2023, she serves as Head of PR & Communications at TechIsland®, a non-profit tech association working to transform Cyprus into a tech hub. In her role, she leads strategy development, media relations, and community engagement through omnichannel communications. In 2024, she received the CBN Young Dragon Award in Services.

Prof. Theo Hadjiyannis studied for two years at Exeter College in Devon, U.K, from where he received a Diploma in Business Studies. He then continued his studies at Loughborough University, obtaining a B.Sc in Sociology & Economics. From Loughborough, Prof. Hadjiyannis entered City University in London, gaining from City an M.Sc. in Administrative Sciences, majoring in Marketing. In 1976, he returned to Cyprus from the UK to be employed by a large firm which manufactured building material, he held the post of Export Manager. Subsequently, Prof. Hadjiyannis joined the Central Bank of Cyprus. He held that post for three years. In 1978 he founded The Cyprus Institute of Marketing and he was the Director-General of CIM until 2020. In August 1983, he was appointed Honorary Education Liaison Officer of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). In 1987, he was elected President of the Cyprus Association of Private Tertiary Educational Institutions, while in 1991 he was inaugurated as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).

Yangos Hadjiyannis studied at the University of Nottingham where he earned an LL.B. with a First-Class Honours. He then moved to the University of Cambridge (Trinity Hall) where he earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies and the next year, he earned an LL.M. in International Law with First Class Honours. In 2022, he completed successfully the highly exclusive Executive Education program “Authentic Leadership” at Harvard University. He is the CEO of CIM Cyprus Business School since 2020. He is a member of the Board of Directors of CIPA (Invest Cyprus) and Chairman of the Promotion Committee. He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director at KEDIPES and member of the Executive Committee of Cyprus’ Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB).

Ioannis Petri is the Founder and CEO of Athlos Capital, a leading investment services firm in Cyprus, which also launched Sophic, the first Cypriot fintech platform. Ioannis has extensive experience in the investment sector, having begun his career in 2007 in London as part of the Credit Hybrids and Exotics team at a top-tier international investment bank. In 2009, he returned to Cyprus to establish and lead the Investment Services division of a private bank. In 2016, he founded Athlos Capital and, leveraging his deep expertise in fixed income markets, expanded the firm to include a wealth management division offering a full spectrum of investment services. He holds a degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham and a Master’s in Financial Risk Management from the ICMA Centre at the University of Reading.

Nicoletta Charalambous founded Orb Communications in 2013 and currently serves as its Managing and Creative Director. With over 20 years of experience in advertising, communication, and marketing, she has led numerous successful campaigns and managed large-scale projects. Her expertise includes extensive oversight, strategic planning, and creative direction of major communication projects. Nicoletta earned her Law Degree from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at the University of Aix-Marseille in France. She began her career in advertising in 2001 as an Account Executive, later advancing to PR Executive. Subsequently, she served as an Account Manager and then as Head of Account Management from 2009 to 2013, prior to taking on her current leadership role at Orb Communications.

With studies in linguistics in Germany, Tasia Yiannara Yiallourides is one of the leading figures in the field of communication in Cyprus, with her strengths being strategic thinking and consulting. Tasia is considered one of the most recognized and effective professionals in the fields of Advertising and Public Relations, especially in image building and crisis management. She invests in introducing innovative ideas and business models, and her passion lies in developing new talent. She is the President of the Cyprus Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW Cyprus), a member of the international BPW network. Her focus is on the advancement of women in the professional and business arena, equal participation of women in decision-making centers, and their rise within the business hierarchy.

Stavros Caramondanis studied in the USA before joining the Caramondani Group in 1992, starting as a storekeeper and steadily advancing through various roles. By 1996, he was appointed Brand Manager, and in 2002, he became the Group’s Commercial Manager. Recognizing opportunities in the energy sector, he co-founded Medserve Cyprus LTD in partnership with a Malta-based logistics company, positioning it as a leading provider of logistics and support services to International Oil Companies (IOCs). In 2012, he secured a landmark 55-year concession agreement with the Cypriot government to develop Ayia Napa Marina. A year later, he partnered with prominent international businessman Naguib Sawiris and the Orascom Group to bring the visionary Ayia Napa Marina project to life — a world-class waterfront destination blending luxury residences, a state-of-the-art marina, and vibrant commercial spaces. As industry leaders in water treatment, in 2018 he played a big role in expanding the company’s existing open water desalinated plants with the successful addition of the Caramondani Desalination Paphos Plant. Caramondanis’ strategic leadership and commitment to innovation continue to shape Cyprus’s infrastructure and tourism landscape, solidifying his reputation as a key figure in the region’s economic development.

I earned a degree in Psychology from Boston College in the USA. After graduating, I returned to Cyprus and worked for a year at Ayia Napa Marina offices. During this time, I realized that my lifelong passion for cooking was something I needed to pursue professionally. I applied for a postgraduate program in Switzerland and, in February 2023, began an intensive six-month course at EHL Hospitality Business School in Lausanne. While studying, Margherita Artigianale at Ayia Napa Marina was being established. I joined the project in August 2023, where I now combine creativity, hospitality, and a love for food.

George Petrou was born in 1958 in Alambra and began his career as a football player. In 1982, he founded the dairy company AFOI PETROU, which he has fully managed since 1991. Under his leadership, the company has grown into one of the largest in Cyprus, exporting to 40 countries and employing over 300 people. He has three sons, all actively involved in the business in leadership roles. He is one of the five pioneers who contributed to the global recognition of Halloumi. He served as President of the Cheesemakers’ Association and is a member of the Larnaca Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2023, he invested in a new milk and juice production unit, continuing with dedication to quality and tradition. His motto is devotion to quality, tradition, and people—moving forward without forgetting where we started.

Michalis Petrou is a graduate of the University of Cyprus with a degree in Business Administration – Accounting and Finance, and he holds the Certified Accountant (ACCA) qualification. From a young age, he was actively involved in the family business, gaining experience across all stages of production and trade. Today, as Commercial Director, he leads the export, import, and marketing departments, managing customer relations and driving the development of new products, categories, and packaging. With a vision for innovation and continuous growth, he played a key role in expanding Halloumi exports to over 42 countries, introducing new product lines such as fresh milk, natural juices, and plant-based beverages. His efforts have strengthened the company’s dynamic presence and leading position in the Cypriot dairy industry.

Professor Philippos Patsalis is a distinguished scientist with over 30 years of experience as a researcher, entrepreneur, and executive leader. He is the Founder and CEO of NIPD Genetics, a biotechnology company recently acquired by the multinational corporation Medicover. He has held top academic and administrative positions, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Director of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics, Professor of Medical Genetics at the University of Nicosia Medical School, and Minister of Health of the Republic of Cyprus. Professor Patsalis holds over 200 international patents, has authored 11 books, published more than 140 scientific articles, and delivered over 240 presentations at universities and international conferences as an invited speaker.

Philippos Kameris was born and raised in Nicosia. From a very young age, he began working alongside his father in the demolition business. In 1988, having gained the necessary knowledge and experience, he founded his own company. With his passion for work, foresight, and drive for progress, he went on to establish new companies that now cover the entire spectrum of the construction industry. By investing in human relationships, he has succeeded in creating a family-oriented work environment and takes pride in seeing his vision come to life through his two sons, who have returned and successfully joined the Philippos Kameris Group of Companies. His tireless spirit has led him to the top of his field. Naturally restless and forward-thinking, he consistently stays ahead of industry developments.

Loizos Tofas has a multifaceted background and is active in key areas of innovation. He is the owner of Geomatic Ltd, a company specializing in the design and implementation of solutions based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS), with a focus on sustainable mobility, smart cities, and transport management. He was also the co-founder of Planty, a startup offering an innovative approach to hydroponic farming and microgreens. More recently, he has taken on a key role at Amaxulus Ltd, a leading supplier of premium gastronomic products in Cyprus, where he supports the company’s transition toward digital, strategic, and ESG-oriented business models.

Constantinos Kapodistrias was born in Nicosia in 1968. He graduated from the University of Arizona, USA, in 1993 with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resource Management. In 1995, he earned an MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio, USA. He has been working at Kapodistrias company since 1995 and took over as CEO in 2013. Today, Kapodistrias employs over 300 people and has a turnover exceeding 40 million euros. Konstantinos has participated and continues to participate in numerous conferences and seminars both abroad and in Cyprus, focusing on the automotive spare parts industry, automotive sector, finance, business topics, and more.

Experienced professional with a solid background in sales, marketing, and business development gained through international experience. Played an instrumental role in introducing Smoothie Factory, a US franchise, to the local market, supporting its expansion through strategic partnerships and effective business practices. Co-founded EKCO Maximum Power in 2021, which evolved into EKCO Group by 2025, overseeing a portfolio of companies. Committed to fostering collaborative teams, driving steady growth, and implementing practical solutions to address business challenges.

George Gabriel was born in 1972 in Geroskipou. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies with Computing and is the General Manager of Aphrodite Delights Ltd, which continues the family business founded by his great-grandfather in 1895. In 1994, he took over the management of the company. He was a pioneer in the protection of geographical indications, and through his initiative, two of the first Cypriot products were registered by the EU with Protected Geographical Indication status: Geroskipou Loukoumi (2007) and Geroskipou Almond Sugared Almonds (Koufeta) (2012). Additionally, with his involvement, Geroskipou Loukoumi was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage list of UNESCO in 2024.

Yiannis Ierokipiotis was born in Nicosia in 1981. He holds a degree from the School of Food Quality Control Technology, a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and specialized training in artisanal bakery in Germany. He is married to Sylvia Mouzouridou, and they have one son, Konstantinos. A popular saying, “we are what we eat,” shaped his childhood, academic, and professional career. Since 2018, through Wood N’ Fire Artisan Bakery, Yiannis and Sylvia offer fresh, artisanal clean-label products, prioritizing social responsibility towards their customers.

Pan Dragomir is a content creator, radio host at KissFM, and co-host of the satirical show “The Louis Night Show.” She began her creative journey in 2020, aiming to combine humor with authentic content that inspires, entertains, and engages both audiences and brands. With a particular passion for satire, social observation, and social media, she often speaks about the value of authenticity and creative consistency in the digital environment.

Aris Aristidou is the master distiller and co-founder of Aristides Distilling. He holds a degree in Operations Research from the College of William and Mary and a Master’s in Finance from the University of Stirling, giving him a strong academic background. His career began in the United States, where in 2008 he partnered with Jim Blansit to establish the first craft distillery in the Ozarks region of Missouri after Prohibition. Their collaboration earned three awards from the American Distilling Institute. In 2016, Aris returned to Cyprus with his wife Marianna to found Aristides Distilling, bringing with them their experience and philosophy of quality distillation. Aristides Distilling contributes to the revival of the Cypriot distilling tradition with modern approaches, supporting the local economy by working with local farmers and producers, and promoting Cyprus as a tourist destination by attracting visitors through tasting and experiential tours. Aristides Distilling’s products have been recognized in international competitions, proudly representing Cyprus.

He studied oceanography with a specialization in marine aquaculture in France. After completing his studies, he settled in Tunisia, where he worked for four years at the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). Subsequently, he actively contributed to the development of aquaculture in Greece, where he stayed for a year and a half. In 1989, Antonis Kimonides, securing a license to operate an open-sea aquaculture unit, returned to Cyprus to establish his own company. He started with a small facility in Limassol, which gradually expanded. After 36 years of operation, his company today holds a leading position in Cypriot production of gilthead seabream and sea bass, boasting pioneering facilities and technological equipment. The goal remains steady: producing high-quality products with respect for the environment. At the same time, Antonis Kimonides serves as president of the Pancyprian Association of Marine Aquaculture (ΠΑΣΥΘΑ), actively contributing to the development and promotion of the industry in Cyprus.

Theo Demetriou is a Director at Ioannides Demetriou LLC, a Barrister, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and an Accredited Mediator. He has been a key member of the firm’s litigation department since 2012, advising a broad spectrum of domestic clients—including the Electricity Authority of Cyprus, leading universities, and major contractors—as well as international clients involved in complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes with a Cypriot element.

Andrew Demetriou is a Barrister, Arbitrator and Accredited Mediator. He is ranked by The Legal 500 in the Hall of Fame in dispute resolution and real estate and construction. He is a founding Partner and the Managing Director of the law firm Ioannides Demetriou LLC based in Nicosia, Cyprus. He acts for a number of public organisations in Cyprus and leading private businesses. He has also represented both Cyprus and foreign governments and government agencies in cases and has served as Chairman of the Legalink Legal Network of Independent Law firms.

Andreas Hadjisofocleous is the Founder and Managing Director of HJS Insurance. He holds degrees in Business Administration and International Management from King’s College London, along with a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). A seasoned speaker and former Toastmasters leader, Andreas is active in Cyprus’s startup ecosystem and has co-founded three award-winning startups. He is also a Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative (YTILI) Fellow, recognised for his work in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Korina Malasidi graduated from the Experimental High School of the University of Macedonia and, starting next academic year, will be a Law student. She was actively involved in youth entrepreneurship through the Junior Achievement programs. She served as CEO of the student mini-company Isometricks, which won first prize at the JA Worldwide Global Competition (De La Vega Global Entrepreneurship Award). She was a speaker at the 28th Annual Economist Government Roundtable 2023 and was included in the Forbes 30-Under-30 list for 2024. She has many interests and is involved in various activities. She has practiced the art of ballet from a young age, at a competitive level.

Ioannis Terpsiadis graduated from the Experimental High School of University of Macedonia and is studying Engineering Sciences at the Technical University of Hamburg (TUHH). From a young age, he has been involved in robotics and computer programming, and later in 3D design-modeling and 3D printing. He has participated in and won many awards at robotics festivals and competitions. He served as Production Manager of the mini-company Isometricks, which won 1st prize at the JA Worldwide Global Competition (De La Vega Global Entrepreneurship Award). He was a speaker at the 28th Annual Economist Government Roundtable and was included in the Forbes 30-Under-30 list for 2024. He holds a black belt and two Dan ranks in Taekwondo. He loves video games.
