Milan Trajkovic was born on March 17, 1992. He is a track and field athlete specializing in the 110m hurdles.
Trajkovic grew up in the Serbian town of Surdulica but moved with his family to Cyprus at the age of nine due to the NATO bombings in Yugoslavia. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, he qualified for the final of the 110m hurdles with times of 13.41 seconds and 13.31 seconds in the semifinals. With this achievement, Trajkovic became the first Cypriot athlete to qualify for the Olympic final in this event. He represented Cyprus in the 110m hurdles final at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
His personal bests are 13.25 seconds in the 110m hurdles (0.0 m/s, London 2017) and 7.51 seconds in the 60m hurdles (Birmingham, 2018). Both are current national records.
In 2024, he reached the final of the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow, finishing 8th, and later that summer at the Olympic Games in Paris, he advanced to the semifinals, where he narrowly missed qualification for the final, placing 9th overall.
