Carolos Georgallis is the CEO of AIFCAP Managers, an Alternative Investment Fund Management firm in Cyprus and is also a Partner at the Kinisis Ventures Fund. Carolos studied engineering at Imperial and Cambridge and started his career at a Venture Capital research & information provider company in Cambridge before moving to London to work as an electronics and semiconductors analyst and later portfolio manager at Herald Investment Management, the largest Technology, Media, and Telecoms (TMT) specialist fund manager in London. He then switched to investment banking, first at Renaissance Capital, an emerging markets specialist investment bank, working at their Cyprus and UK offices and then at Generation Alfa, a Swiss investment management and advisory firm located in Dubai, before returning to Cyprus to run AIFCAP.
