Angela Panayiotou is a business consultant, startup and innovation advisor with a strong track record in Cyprus and abroad. She previously led the Bank of Cyprus Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre, where she spearheaded IDEA, the country’s largest startup incubator-accelerator, as well as SME digital literacy initiatives. Today, she is an advisor to renowned entrepreneur John Christodoulou and she manages the Yianis Christodoulou Foundation. Angela also serves on the Board of Invest Cyprus as Chair of the Foreign Investors Aftercare Committee. A frequent speaker and mentor, she supports young founders and works with universities. She has represented Cyprus in entrepreneurship forums and delegations in USA, Israel, India, Germany, Portugal, and Greece. Recognized with awards including “Woman of the Year – Businesswoman/Professional” (Madame Figaro 2021) and European Commission EEPA award (IDEA, 2019), she is a passionate advocate for innovation, women’s empowerment, and youth entrepreneurship.
