Ambassador Konstantinos Kollias was born in Athens in 1964 and studied Political and Legal Sciences at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

He joined the Diplomatic Service of the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1993 and, throughout his long career, has served in a number of important positions in Greece and abroad. These have included postings at the Greek Embassies in Tirana, Madrid, Nicosia, and Bucharest, as well as senior directorial roles within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with responsibilities covering European affairs, international economic relations, and international energy issues.

In 2016, he was promoted to the rank of Minister Plenipotentiary. From 2021 to 2025, he served as Permanent Representative of Greece to the OSCE in Vienna.

On 12 September 2025, he presented his credentials as Ambassador of Greece to the Republic of Cyprus.

Ambassador Kollias speaks English, French, and Spanish. He is married and has two children.

In recognition of his service, he has received a number of distinguished honours, including the rank of Grand Commander of the Order of the Phoenix of the Hellenic Republic, as well as high distinctions from the Republic of Cyprus.
