The future of work isn’t only about new technology. It’s about helping people grow with it. Nadia Karayianni shares what two decades across business, education and social impact have taught her about skills, partnerships and preparing people and organisations for what comes next.

Nadia Karayianni is Head of Business Development at CARDET and The Learning Edge, with more than 20 years of professional experience in business development, strategic partnerships, consulting, and the management of initiatives across the private, public, and social sectors. In her current role, she focuses on developing business opportunities, building partnerships with organisations and businesses, and connecting innovative solutions with the evolving needs of the workforce and organisations. Throughout her career, Nadia has held senior roles including Conferences Director and Project Manager at IMH, Communications and Organisation Advisor at the Office of the President of the House of Representatives, and Research Officer at the University of Cyprus. She has extensive experience managing and supporting initiatives that contribute to organisational development, capacity building, and social and business impact. Her professional and institutional experience also includes serving as a member of the NGO Working Group for the Reform of Legislation since 2007, as well as serving as Vice President of the Cyprus Youth Organisation and the Cyprus Youth Council. She has also maintained an active voluntary role with the Cyprus Girl Guides Association for more than 30 years, having served as International Commissioner and Advocacy Champion. Nadia holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations, an MSc in Management with a specialisation in Human Resources, and an MA in Gender Studies.
