Costas Zorbas has served as the Executive Chairman of Zorbas Group since 2006. Born in Athienou in 1965, he was introduced to the art of baking at a young age, working alongside his father in the family bakery, which was started in the backyard of their home. This early hands-on experience played a crucial role in sparking his lifelong passion for the bakery art.  He pursued specialised studies in bakery and pastry in both Greece and Italy, while also taking part in acclaimed business development programs in Cyprus and abroad. These experiences laid the foundation for what would become a remarkable entrepreneurial journey. In 1988, he opened the first Zorbas bakery in Nicosia, marking a pivotal moment in the company’s history. Since then, Zorbas Group has grown into an industry leader, operating over 100 retail locations across Cyprus and the United States, supported by three production units and a team of more than 3,500 members. The Group’s continued success is rooted in a strong family culture and enduring core values that have guided its daily operations for over 50 years.
