Elena Kontou is an experienced legal and corporate professional with extensive expertise in fintech, payments, compliance, and strategic growth. She is a co-founder, CEO, and Executive Director of SEPAGA E.M.I. Limited, a role she has held since 2017.

She previously served as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Quickbit eu AB (publ).

Elena holds an LLB and an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Leicester and began her career as a corporate lawyer.

She is also a founding member and Secretary of the Board of the Association of Cyprus Electronic Money & Payment Institutions (ACEMPI). Elena is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and has been actively involved with the Cyprus Scouts Association.
