At the same time, her influence is reflected in the generations of executives, entrepreneurs, and young people whom she has supported and mentored. She was the first woman to hold senior institutional positions at the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce, ALBA Graduate Business School, EEDE, and SEN/Junior Achievement Greece. Dr. Alexandros Michaelides is a graduate Mining Engineer and Metallurgist from the National Technical University of Athens – NTUA (1990). After completing his studies, he worked for a year as a researcher at the Physical Metallurgy Laboratory of the NTUA. In 1991 he began the preparation of his doctoral thesis on “Laser processing of copper and its alloys”. 1995, he was awarded a Doctorate in Engineering in the Metallurgy and Materials Technology sector. In 1997, with a Fulbright scholarship, he attended an accelerated postgraduate program in Technology & Innovation Management at Lehigh University and MIT in the USA. He has also attended a series of specialized training programs in technology transfer, the exploitation of research results, commercialization, and technobroking at NASA’s National Technology Transfer Center. In 1995 Mr. Michaelides was hired at the Cyprus Technology Foundation, and from October 1997 until August 2000, he was responsible for the general coordination of the Foundation’s activities. In September 2000, he founded and assumed the general direction of the Development Organization RTD Talos. TALOS focuses its services on research, innovation, technology transfer, small and medium enterprises and regional development.

Andreas Theocharides was born in Nicosia, Cyprus, in April 1986. In 2007, he moved to England to pursue his studies and, in 2010, obtained a BA in Accounting and Finance from the Manchester Metropolitan University.
He subsequently returned to Cyprus, where he began his professional career at KPMG in order to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (ACA). He remained with the organisation until 2014, advancing to the position of Assistant Manager, with primary responsibilities including the audit of major banking institutions and publicly listed companies.
From 2014 to 2020, he served as Chief Financial Officer of the Frou Frou Group of Companies, a company listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange, marking his first substantial step into the FMCG sector.
In 2020, he joined the global family of PepsiCo as Finance Director for Cyprus. In October 2023, he was promoted to Commercial Director Greece, assuming responsibility for the commercial strategy and overall growth of the organised retail market. In June 2025, he additionally undertook the role of Acting General Manager for Cyprus, with overall responsibility for the market’s strategy, commercial development, and operational performance.
In 2026, he assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KEAN Group, a historic and leading organisation in the beverages and FMCG sector in Cyprus. In his role as CEO, he leads the Group’s overall strategic transformation, with a focus on growth, strengthening organisational culture, and the sustainable creation of value for shareholders, partners, and the organisation’s people.
