Petros Vassilopoulos is a leading figure in the logistics sector in Cyprus. With a PhD in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, he played a pivotal role in introducing and establishing the Outsourced Third Party Logistics (3PL) model in the country from 2000 onwards. Over the past three decades, he has amassed extensive experience in logistics services and holds fellowships from prestigious institutions such as the Chartered Institute of Logistics, the Institute of Freight Forwarders, and the Chartered Shipbrokers. He also holds two Master’s degrees from UK universities in Port Management and Maritime Business Administration. For more than 20 years, he has served as a Visiting Professor at CUT, teaching Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and has spoken at numerous industry conferences. His contributions have earned him significant recognition, including the Business Leader Award by CCCI in 2019 and the In Business Award in 2025. Today, he remains a key shareholder and Executive Director at G.A.P. Vassilopoulos Group, focusing on the Group’s logistics operations.
