Katerina Efstratiou is a textile designer, artist and educator based in Nicosia, Cyprus. She runs the Katerina Efstratiou Weaving Studio, where she creates handwoven pieces like wall hangings, fashion accessories and homeware using high-quality yarns and traditional techniques. She holds an MA in Textile Design from the University of Brighton. Her work is all about bringing Cypriot weaving back to life especially Fytiotiko Embroidery, by giving it a fresh, modern twist. Alongside her artistic practice, she teaches weaving to people of all ages and collaborates with fashion designers, artists and the hospitality industry to create unique, meaningful textiles rooted in heritage.
