National Betting Authority is a regulatory body and is governed by the Betting Law of 2019. It oversees the licensing, regulation and supervision of the betting activity which is conducted within the Republic of Cyprus. The Authority also cooperates with competent agencies, public services and international organisations for issues relating to the betting industry. Also, it is responsible for the implementation of specific measures to be taken for the protection of young people, vulnerable groups from addiction to betting.
