The Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA) is a semi-government organisation established in 1979, operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance. Through its policies, programmes and initiatives, the HRDA plays a pivotal role in developing the knowledge, skills and competencies of Cyprus’ human resources, thereby supporting economic growth, enhancing productivity and strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of the labour market.
The HRDA’s mission is to create the conditions for the planned and systematic training and development of human resources at all levels and across all sectors of the economy, in line with national socio-economic priorities.
Its vision is the continuous development of a skilled and adaptable workforce, equipped with the knowledge and competencies required to respond effectively to the evolving needs of the economy and labour market, while contributing to sustainable growth, innovation and organisational excellence.
