Daphne was born in Cyprus and studied Law at Oxford University before training as an actress at LAMDA. 

She started off on BBC’s well known series “Casualty” (2006-8). Other TV credits include: “House of Saddam” (HBO/BBC), “The Amazing Mrs Pritchard” (BBC), “Dream Team” (Sky TV), “The Sandman” (Netflix), “Kabul” (France 2). On Greek TV she has portrayed Nina in “Zoe” and Julia in “Revenge Games” the “Dr Foster” adaptation (for Antenna TV). 

Films: Polanski’s “The Ghost Writer”, Luca Guadagnino’s “Beckett”, “The Fourth Kind” (Universal Pictures). 

Daphne played the lead female role in award-winning short film “The Palace” by Anthony Maras, and the lead female role in award winning Cypriot feature film “The Siege on Liperti Street” by Stavros Pamballis.

Other film credits: Katina Horton in “Smyrna my Beloved” (Apple and Netflix), Aliki in “Minore” (Rotterdam Film Festival and FrightFest), Victoria in “The Hunted” (Amazon), Anna in “Murphy’s Law”, Dimitra in “Maricel”, Timothea in “Kalanta”, and in short films “First Swim”, “The Coffee Letters” and “Belle de Salem” (the latter in French).

Stage credits include: “City Stories” at 59E59 in NYC, “Hidden in the Sand” at London’s Trafalgar Studios, Elaine in “Camelot: The Shining City” at Sheffield Crucible and “The Marshall Plan” with Athens and Epidaurus Festival. 

Voice highlights include her portrayal of iconic heroine Modesty Blaise for BBC radio 4.
