Yannis Matsis is the Global Head of Business Promotion at MUFG Investor Services, responsible for advancing current and new products, positioning acquisition interests, and developing a stronger relationship with all external and internal stakeholders.Previously, Yannis served as CEO of Hellenic Bank Group; as Global Head of Credit, Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange Derivatives at Mizuho in London; and as Global Head of Credit Derivatives at ING Barings in London. He also co-founded Point Nine, a financial technologies company, which was acquired by MUFG in 2019. Yannis graduated from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom with a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
