Dr. Charalambos Vrasidas is a social entrepreneur, innovator, and lifelong learner with over 30 years of experience leading transformative initiatives globally. As the Founder and Executive Director of CARDET, an international non-profit research and innovation center, he drives projects that empower individuals and organizations to thrive. At the University of Nicosia, where he serves as Professor of Learning Innovations and Policy, Dr. Vrasidas blends academic insight with practical leadership. Over his career, he has designed and implemented impactful initiatives in more than 40 countries across diverse fields such as digital learning, organizational development, entrepreneurship, and community wellbeing. His work incorporates emerging technologies—including AI, gamification, and Extended Reality (XR), while maintaining a human-centred and holistic approach to innovation.
